Kumara Parvatha Trek from Somwarpete (Weekend Trek)

🚌 Departure from Bangalore (Night) Depart from Bangalore at 9:30 PM with multiple pickup points. It is recommended to have dinner before boarding. Overnight journey towards Somwarpete.

🏡 Arrival & Check-in (Morning) Arrive at Somwarpete around 6:00 AM. Check in to the homestay, freshen up and have breakfast. Main luggage stays at the homestay — carry only trek essentials. 🥾 Trek Begins (Morning) Depart for the trek starting point. Obtain forest permits and begin the ascent through the Pushpagiri reserve forest. 🏔️ Summit — Kumara Parvatha Peak (Afternoon) Reach the Kumara Parvatha summit at approximately 1:00 PM. Soak in the breathtaking 360° views of the Western Ghats. ⬇️ Descent (Afternoon) Begin the descent, stopping at iconic viewpoints along the trail before returning to the base camp at Somwarpete. 🔥 Campfire & Dinner (Evening) Return to homestay by 5:30 PM. Rest, freshen up, and enjoy dinner around 8:30 PM with a campfire (weather permitting).

💧 Malalli Falls (Morning) Wake up early, have breakfast and check out. Head to the stunning Malalli Falls for a refreshing morning visit. 🏰 Manjarabad Fort (Afternoon) Explore the star-shaped Manjarabad Fort near Sakaleshpura, a unique piece of Tipu Sultan's legacy. 🚌 Return to Bangalore (Evening) Begin the journey back to Bangalore after lunch (self-sponsored). Arrive in Bangalore around 9:00 PM.
